Food for thought
So what did I learn today? When your significant other calls you in the middle of the day and starts the conversation with: "I'm a fucking idiot!" the appropriate response is NOT: "Um (pause) not totally." Responding in such a manner will not score you any points, even if you think you're being funny. Current Mood: working |

Funny Cat Story
This weekend I was getting out of the shower when the phone rang. Throwing on my bathrobe, I ran to catch it and looked at the caller ID. It was my cell phone. What the hell? I'm home, Tracey's home. How am I calling me? I answered the phone and could hear the radio playing in the next room. I looked through the door to find Aphrodite sitting on the cell phone. |

I was going to work until 7:00 tonight. It's 6:30. Does anyone mind if I go home? I think my brain has turned to pudding and I have to come in Saturday anyway. Please can I go? Anyone (Alex, Josh, Leah) want to go to the Elk tomorrow at about nine? Current Mood: blahCurrent Music: Indigo Girls |

I hate mondays
I'm not ready to go back to work. I took an antihistamine last night so I wouldn't snore so loud that I would keep Tracey awake. She slept on the couch. The antihistamine wouldn't wear off this morning. I didn't get up until after 7:00. I am so late today. Can I have another day for my weekend please? A belated thank-you
Thank-you everyone who sent me birthday cards and wishes last week. It was really a nice suprise to see whom I would receive mail from each day. I appologize for this belated thank-you, I wound up getting sick soon after my birthday, and this is the first time I made it to the computer. Thank-you. Current Mood: thankful |

Sorry for those who hate quizes:
You're Canada!
People make fun of you a lot, but they're stupid because you've got a much better life than they do. In fact, they're probably just jealous. You believe in crazy things like human rights and health care and not dying in the streets, and you end up securing these rights for yourself and others. If it weren't for your weird affection for ice hockey, you'd be the perfect person. Take the Country Quiz at the Blue Pyramid
and:
You're A Prayer for Owen Meany!
by John Irving
Despite humble and perhaps literally small beginnings, you inspire faith in almost everyone you know. You are an agent of higher powers, and you manifest this fact in mysterious and loud ways. A sense of destiny pervades your every waking moment, and you prepare with great detail for destiny fulfilled. When you speak, IT SOUNDS LIKE THIS!

Valentines Day
I love you.I love you for making me laugh. I love you for making me think. I love you for the way you jump out to startle me. I love you for being my wife. I love you for the way you don't always agree with me. I love you for the way you let me know. I love you for the time you spend with me. I love you for helping me feel good about myself. I love you for your sense of humor. And most of all... I love you just for being you. Thanks for sharing your life with me. Current Mood: lucky |

Bad day
I usually don't post about sad parts of my life, but today I feel like it. One of my Clients passed away today. He was only twenty-nine. Everyone says he went peacefully. He had left by the time I got to his house. He went probably half and hour or less before I got there. Tracey made me feel better tonight. We rented Harry Potter. leahkay96 is covering for me tomorrow (thanks Leah) and I'm not going to work. Current Mood: sad |

Do you ever have one of those days where you would rather drink a gallon of paint than go to work? That's me today! Then again, the office has central air conditioning, the house has one room of air conditioning. It's going to be around 100 degrees today. Work it is. Bush does it again
According to the front page of yesterday's Spokesman Review, Governor Dirk Kempthorne of Idaho is the top pick to replace Whitman as the head of the EPA. That's like appointing Enron Execs as secretaries of the national treasury. Kempthorne tried to get the EPA to leave Idaho and ignore the lead deposits from mining waste in the Silver Valley (ARRRGH). Current Mood: annoyed |
